Darice is the CEO and founder of Synapse Publishing & Entertainment, LLC Darice has been a performer, dancer, innovator, musician, speaker, award winning author and serial entrepreneur founding and leading multiple international businesses, developing software and managing large product and marketing work teams over the past 35 years.
Synapse Publishing & Entertainment creates and provides original music compositions and lyrics with staff songwriters/musicians. They have formed unique partnerships and alliances with multiple artists, producers, arrangers, and publishing licensors across genres to provide music and sound in a boutique fashion to fit the vision of each individual project.
From serving on theatre boards, to raising money for sponsorship for many not-for-profit organizations to teaching and coaching, Darice’s innovative approaches are her hallmark. Synapse and its team has provided original music for various film and theatre such as Heavens2Betsy2 (Robert Alaniz film)– nominee at the2019 International Christian Film Festival for Best Screenplay of the year, theme song for original screenplay The Waiting Room (Victor Alao), and is currently engaged (funding stage) in the comedy film MegaBall$ (Marc Baron) - as well as other video and commercial ventures, Darice brings a level of professionalism, enthusiasm, strategic acumen, integrity and a sense of humor to creative projects she is involved in. She is currently a member of BMI, NSA, NSA-IL, AIMP, NSAI, NMPA and other professional organizations. Her passion is working with not for profit organizations to host concert events as well as nurturing and showcasing young songwriter talent such as through her work as a sponsor and coach for Synapse Star Search and Songwriter Girl Camp (Kirsti Manna)
Synapse Publishing & Entertainment prides itself on not only its development and support of talent, but on its catalog and extended support and access to writers and performers at all levels. Its unique expert level roster of award winning music creators represents over 100 years of music industry experience and includes renowned writers such as PBS Songs at the Center and winner of Pepsi’s First Southern Original national winner, Andrew M. Salgado; and Adam Mackintosh, known most notably for his composition for Storm Large and Pink Martini, "Forbidden Fruit" which is performed regularly in the Great American Songbook performances by Symphony Orchestra, worldwide. Key partners in co-writing with these songwriters include such talent as Kacey Musgraves, Jackson Browne, Brian Wilson, Jim ‘Moose’ Brown, Darry Worley, James Hall, Kirsti Manna, pAt mAcdonald and others.
