Jay Ehrlich
Jay is originally from the North Shore suburbs but despite the suburban upbringing, he still learned to say”I’m coming by.” and “are you coming with?” After attending law school, Jay returned to Chicago and for a brief time practiced law, successfully arguing that a hot dog was a sandwich and “two out of three ain’t bad,” in re Meat Loaf. Jay now practices corporate restructuring and asset recovery in Scottsdale, AZ where he hopes to be the youngest person in the area to have a golf cart as his main form of transportation.
Kyla Cedeno
My name is Kyla Cedeno. I am from Park Ridge, IL. I am a country/pop singer and I hope to be successful in the music industry someday. My favorite artist right now is Megan Moroney.
Laura Hugg
In the past, I was attracted to what society calls, “bad boys”, charming, lots of riz, irreverent, sexy and doesn’t play by the rules. You know, someone who doesn’t care what people think about them, they say what they want to say, they don’t care what other people feel, they don’t care about people’s feelings. Well, that’s not exactly what I meant.
That not actually a desirable quality.
What I mean is someone who likes to live fast, likes to drive fast, rock music blasting, going way over the speed limit on the highway, weaving in and out of traffic, actually scaring other drivers. I like someone who drives on the shoulder and skips the line to the on ramp. I don’t like Bad Boys, I like Bad drivers.
Someone who doesn’t wash their trash cans, has loud parties into the night and doesn’t pick up
when their dog goes in your yard. I’m attracted to bad neighbors.
Mark Hayward
Mark Hayward has been a variety arts performer since 1990. He is a World Yo-yo Champion, a member of a World Champion Juggling Team, and a Spin Top Champion. Mark has traveled the world with a yo-yo on his finger (well, mostly in his pocket), and has made appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman (twice), The Late Late Show with James Corden, America’s Got Talent, and the NBC Nightly News (without committing a crime).
Prophets of the Elk
The Prophets of the Elk have their beginning in the summer of 2002 at a Waffle House that was doing what any Waffle Houses does when it lives in the shadow of Disney’s Magic Kingdom. During one of their typical father and son conversations, Buzz and Patrick invented the characters of Jim and Virgil, Prophets of the Elk. That interaction spawned a whole backstory and a unique universe where Jim and Virgil dwell. Since that stellar moment in time, that became the way the father and son called themselves. A year later, in 2003 Jim (Buzz) became a high school principal and began performing with Virgil (Patrick) as his roadie, groupie and interim act. After a couple of these evenings, Jim said, “Virgil, we are going to be a band”. They hurriedly learning 3 songs, Sloop John B; Ape Man and Get Back, and the rest is history…or math… or something. For over 20 years, Jim and Virgil have been playing together. They cordially invite you to enjoy the ‘fruits of that collaboration’
