Meet the Contestants
Angie Goeke
A recent transplant to Montana, Texas-native Angie Goeke (Gay-kee) is a multidisciplinary artist, committed activist, and compelling songwriter with a forte for cinematic storytelling. She has received praise from Americana Highways stating, “Angie’s emphasis is on her melodic appeal, smart words vividly demonstrated, and she’s filled her album with heartwarming tunes… and immersed them in everything that is essential to good songwriting and performance.” Her unique compositions, which she often begins writing on ukulele before expanding for a larger band, fuse elements of classic Americana, folk, bluegrass and jazz, with her captivating vocal melodies front and center. Skope Magazine says of Goeke’s songs: “Americana Perfection.”
Brandi Alexander
Brandi Alexander is sassy, sharp, and a barrel of laughs. Comedy has been her therapeutic release from teaching in these public schools and her dating life on a college campus. She performs in comedy clubs and festivals around the country.
Bryn Scott Grimes
Bryn Scott-Grimes is an award-winning US-Canadian harmonica virtuoso and singer-songwriter based in Nashville. Renowned for his unique blend of folk, blues, show tunes, and retro songwriting, Bryn captivates audiences with his rich, dynamic harmonica solos, intricate guitar picking and beautiful baritone voice. Despite battling asthma as a child, he has transformed into an avid deep breather and a highly sought-after harmonica session musician, contributing to a wide range of projects, including music for artists, short films, documentaries, and film scores. His most notable work includes the upcoming Canadian feature film “Stealing the Sky,” set to debut in 2025, where he not only plays a significant role in the score but also makes an on-screen appearance as a harmonica busker, portraying himself. Bryn’s recent accolades include winning 1st place in the 2024 Charleston International Music Competition and earning a silver medal in the 2024 Global Music Awards for his four-harmonica magnum opus, “Mr. Breathe.”
Dolan
Dolan is an adoptive father of 4 and a singer/songwriter from Fort Worth, TX. His blend of country, rock, and soul brings a unique sound and story that echoes his passion for music and family. His songs tell stories that many can relate to and find a connection with through the special medium of music.
Eliana Grizzell
Hello! My Name is Eliana and I’m a singer/songwriter from Nashville Tennessee! I’ve been singing all my life and want to do it in whatever capacity I can!
heyJ
heyJ is a 21 year-old singer-songwriter born and raised in New Orleans. She has been writing, singing, playing instruments, and performing ever since she was six years old. Through her music, she paints a picture that can be interpreted in many ways. Her music is empowering for all listeners. heyJ’s music consists of one cup of jazzy-pop, a teaspoon of mellow vibes, and a pinch of heartbreak. She released her new single, Medusa, March 8!

My name is Kyla Cedeno. I am from Park Ridge, IL. I am a country/pop singer and I hope to be successful in the music industry someday. My favorite artist right now is Megan Moroney.
Marcus Morales
Marcus Morales is a native Central-Texan, driven by his love of music and performance. His brand of ambience-forward blues and rock ‘n’ roll recalls the stylings of Jonny Lang and Pink Floyd. His fresh take on blues expression represents the 15+ years Morales has spent refining his methods, and exploring modalities through performance to present a renewed spirit on the classic genre.
Mark Hayward
Mark Hayward has been a variety arts performer since 1990. He is a World Yo-yo Champion, a member of a World Champion Juggling Team, and a Spin Top Champion. Mark has traveled the world with a yo-yo on his finger (well, mostly in his pocket), and has made appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman (twice), The Late Late Show with James Corden, America’s Got Talent, and the NBC Nightly News (without committing a crime).
Rachel Colette
Rachel Colette is a singer/songwriter who started humming and singing before she could talk and writing music since the third grade. She’s been through many trials and tribulations that should have compromised her singing career, including cancer twice… and multiple vocal cord surgerys due to the treatments. She was told by Dr.s that she may never sing again, however she soared through it all and still came out singing!
Revie
Sister duo unparalleled, REVIE is a genre-crossing hybrid duo where the integrity of the classics meets the commercialism of modern pop craft. Listeners have touted “it’s different, it’s fresh yet somehow feels like I’ve always known it; the familiarity of home.” Their songs are an emotional blend of sonorous vocals and achingly beautiful storytelling.
When asked what sets them apart, the sisters’ respond “Many songwriters tell the story. We tell the pain of the story,” which is how they dubbed their sound as ‘painfully pretty.’

Sherita Perez
Sherita Perez is a Gulf Coast Queen and conservationist with a party prerogative. She possesses a talent for creating memorable and educational songs that resonate deeply. Paying homage to the classic styles, Sherita sounds like heart-felt Roots, Country, and Folk music with a touch of Roger Miller and Hee Haw.
Sherita recently performed at SXSW Official, Austin City Limits live Radio Broadcast at The Van Zandt Hotel in Austin, TX. Sherita has opened for Joan Osborn and James McMurtry. Sherita has supported shows for Ani DeFranco, The String Cheese Incident, and Taj Mahal. She
performed at the 25th Annual Kate Wolf Music Festival and played at The Golden Gate Band Shell in San Francisco, CA. She has been featured on BMI’s Singer-Songwriter Series at The Saxon Pub and the Texas Music Office’s Texas Music Mixtape KOOP Radio- Original Music Hour alongside Willie Nelson, Nora Jones & Shiny Ribs. Sherita recently played with her band on Texas Radio Live, Sun Radio broadcast at Guero’s in Austin Texas. Sherita is an active musician with the Swan Songs organization. Sherita received a scholarship from SWRFA 2022, and her song, “Pack It In, Pack It Out” will be featured in The National Parks Service PSA this year. Sherita was also recently included in the Chill Country Sessions video series.
Will Beezy
With music on all platforms, Will Beezy is an upcoming professional R&B artist out of West Dallas, TX who started making music professionally in February of 2020. His passion for music as well as growing up in the church prior to is what really inspired and sparked his influence with his career. Since he’s started, Will’s soulful voice, uptempo vibes and catchy hooks have caught the ears and attention to many local bars, venues, and events in the DFW area.
Wizop
Wizopcomedy is an up and coming comedian based out of funkytown, with high energy that rubs off on you through his comedy. He loves not only making people laugh on stage but also through social media with short reels. Wizopcomedy has opened up for the Fort Worth legend Sydney Castillo and as well as the Def comedy jam former host Joe torry. Wizopcomedy is loved for his hilarious amazing crowd work, his Trending topic off the wall comedy styles that gives you one of those good belly laughs you have once in a while. So please sit back and enjoy the early career of one of the funniest comedians you have ever seen.
Meet the Judges
David Fisher
David Fisher, The Rope Warrior, has been performing his interactive and visually entertaining jump rope show all over the world for the last 25 years. Career highlights include: Performances for Boris Yeltsin in Russia, and for Presidents Clinton and Bush at their inaugurations.
He has made over 100 national television appearances and currently holds three world records. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! recognizes David as The World’s Best Rope Jumper, and he is scheduled to be nominated for induction into the Fitness Hall of Fame this year. The Rope Warrior performs school assemblies live for roughly 5000 school children/week throughout the school year as he brings his Ropenastics shows and workshops across the country.
Nan Puetz
Tennessee based Nancy Puetz is the Founder/Executive Director of the Tennessee International Indie Film Festival (TIIFF) since 2016 and is the Executive Director of Airworthy Films and Co-Founder/Producer – Holophrase Films as well as being the current President of the Tennessee Women in Film & Media (TWIFM).
She is an active speaker and volunteers her time generously to mentor females in the creative arts having spoken at Cannes, TIFF, Sundance and many other forums. She is currently working on multiple film projects and has produced multiple independent and award-winning film projects.
Joe Solo
Joe Solo is the 20-year LA Record Producer who developed Macy Gray. Joe’s credits include Michael Jackson, Fergie, will i. am, Quincy Jones, Universal, Sony, Apple, Interscope, Atlantic, and many others, and is founder of the Music Success Workshop.
Josh Crossney
Josh Crossney is the Founder and CEO of Josh Crossney Talent. Josh is passionate about helping artist manage their success and take their careers to the next level.
Over the past decade Josh has been an entrepreneur & innovator in the cannabis space by creating, operating and eventually selling one of the most successful conferences in the industry as well as creating other successful ventures and serving on multiple boards. Josh is an Internationally recognized public speaker and has been featured numerous times in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Huffington Post, Politico, ABC, Fox, CTV News and other major media outlets. Josh is now focused on helping artists achieve their dreams through Josh Crossney Talent.
Ken Love
Ken Love is a music industry veteran. His album mastering credits include Bootsy Collins, Toby Keith, Widespread Panic, Jars of Clay, Peter Erskine,
Mitchell Tenpenny, The Shins, Billy Currington, Zach Top, Lonestar and many more. In his 30 year career at MasterMix studios he remastered many classic albums for CD, mastered many albums and singles for vinyl, and pioneered the use of hard-disc audio recording, In 2014 he launched FivePoints Mastering where he continues to master country, black gospel, jazz and rock projects for CD, vinyl, radio and streaming.
