Angie Goeke

A recent transplant to Montana, Texas-native Angie Goeke (Gay-kee) is a multidisciplinary artist, committed activist, and compelling songwriter with a forte for cinematic storytelling. She has received praise from Americana Highways stating, “Angie’s emphasis is on her melodic appeal, smart words vividly demonstrated, and she’s filled her album with heartwarming tunes… and immersed them in everything that is essential to good songwriting and performance.” Her unique compositions, which she often begins writing on ukulele before expanding for a larger band, fuse elements of classic Americana, folk, bluegrass and jazz, with her captivating vocal melodies front and center. Skope Magazine says of Goeke’s songs: “Americana Perfection.”

Charley Young

Charley Young (BMI/SAG-AFTRA/AEA) is a singer, songwriter, actress, writer, and producer. She wrote and recorded her debut EP and two subsequent singles with Grammy-nominated producer Terence “Delivery Boy” Odige. She has produced and starred in 19 music videos, winning awards in film festivals around the world, and has had two songs chart on iTunes this year: “Bizarre Love Triangle” ranking #1 on iTunes Argentina Pop Chart (#3 on iTunes Argentina All Genres Chart) and “Run Away” ranking #10 on iTunes Brazil Dance Chart.

Coleton Black

Coleton Black was born into music, and his Texan roots are inseparable from his musical journey. Raised in Katy, Texas, he was immersed in a rich musical heritage. Surrounded by musical talent from his father, Kevin Black, to his uncles Brian and Clint Black, Coleton grew up in an environment firmly planted in the music industry.

After setting forth on a solo career, Coleton was soon confronted with the realities of life—the need to secure a stable source of income. Balancing the demands of working days in the sun and performing nights under the lights, his unyielding commitment to music prevented him from ever abandoning his passion.

Determination and persistence were Coleton’s constant companions, ultimately leading to a critical juncture where he would have to decide between forsaking his dreams for the security of a 9-to-5 job or continuing to pursue them. As is characteristic for Coleton, with unwavering resolve, he chose to persevere, dedicating himself to his relentless pursuit of music.

Today, Coleton Black unveils his debut album – the culmination of years of dedication and artistic growth. The chapters that await him in this musical odyssey are yet to be written, but leave us all eagerly anticipating the greatness Coleton will bestow upon the world.

Daniel Holmes

Holmes learned his first lick on the guitar at 8 years old from his Papa, who showed it to him on his 1972 harmony acoustic guitar. Not long after, Holmes picked up his own guitar at the early age of 11 and began honing his skills along with his vocal talent, which he began fostering since he was old enough to talk. Now as a very accomplished guitar picker and singer/songwriter, Holmes prides himself with a unique sound and style. His father cleared the path for Daniel by pulling him on stage at karaoke shows and giving him fatherly advice to strive toward his goals and become a better singer. His whole family has been involved in music since the early 1800s. The family owns an organ/piano repair shop, had members belonging to one of the talented bands featured on the show “Soul Train” in the 1970s, and so much more. Daniel Holmes has had the opportunity to play many Texas music venues, popular nightspots, and dancehalls.

He started playing acoustically in hometown honky-tonks where he soon made a big impact. He became locally popular and then spread to the surrounding towns, with fans stretching all across Texas. Since, the Texas Country Music scene is one that Daniel Holmes has been largely involved in through the creation of his own unique brand and sound. Holmes has worked tirelessly to make an impact on those around him through his work as a solo acoustic artist, and frontman with his own self-titled full band. Although Holmes has played for crowds as large as 12,000 people, he still enjoys playing in local venues to his loyal listeners to this day. Holmes draws on personal experiences to create his own irreplaceable sound and pulls the unique styles of classic country legends such as Merle Haggard, Vince Gill, and Keith Whitley, as well as current red dirt influenced sounds like Whiskey Myers and Tyler Childers.

Lela Dang

Lela Dang is an American singer-songwriter born in Cleveland, Ohio with Serbian and Vietnamese roots – later moved at the age of 7 to be raised and live in Houston, Texas. Always looking for a way to express herself, she constantly auditioned for solos to embody what she was made for – performance. Lela Dang is known for her crazy, goofy and contagious energy. She loves to spread positivity through her actions and music in hopes to one day change the world. Not only is Lela Dang an esteemed artist, she started her entertainment career as a fashion model in Houston. Perfecting her well-roundedness as an entertainer also becoming an actress, dancer, MC, model coordinator & director working with some of America’s most well-known and trusted brands. Following her passion for music, she continues to perform around the country bringing joy to those who love her and have yet to know her.

Loretta Lang

Loretta Lang, a gifted singer from New Orleans, began her musical journey at the tender age of three. She gained recognition as a background vocalist for renowned artists visiting the city and was a featured artist on *The Women of Excellence Project*, performing “Don’t Tell a Sinner.” Loretta sang with the Raymond Anthony Myles Singers, Dimensions of Faith, and as a background vocalist for Bishop Paul S. Morton. After graduating from Xavier University with a full music scholarship, she placed second in the American Idol Experience at Walt Disney World in Florida. Loretta is now a celebrated singer, songwriter, choir director, and gospel music artist.

Marcus Morales

Marcus Morales is a native Central-Texan, driven by his love of music and performance. His brand of ambience-forward blues and rock ‘n’ roll recalls the stylings of Jonny Lang and Pink Floyd. His fresh take on blues expression represents the 15+ years Morales has spent refining his methods, and exploring modalities through performance to present a renewed spirit on the classic genre.

Ray Younkin

At the age of seven, Ray heard his first Bruce Springsteen album and began his life’s musical journey. Thirty-eight years later as an award-winning songwriter, Ray has performed his original music and recorded with ensembles around the world. With a solid background in music theory, he is a self-taught guitarist who incorporates unique alternate tunings for a truly singular, fluid sound. Ray began performing live in 1995, and for almost 30 years has performed from Houston, TX to Antibes, France. In 2007, he was selected as a finalist at the Kerrville New Folk Competition and in 2012, won Best Folk Song in the SongOfTheYear.com songwriting competition. He currently has original music available on streaming, and may be found online at rayyounkin.com. For twelve years, Ray served as the Executive Producer for Music Doing Good, a Houston-based non-profit dedicated to providing underserved children and communities with musical opportunities and education otherwise absent from their daily lives. In addition to his responsibilities as the organizations’s graphic designer and event director, Ray was also a core artist and performed hundreds of fundraising event concerts with the group.

Robert Cristian Jordan

Singer/Songwriter and Recording Artist Robert Cristian Jordan has won multiple performing artist awards including the Tune Derby Award for Best Music Video and nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year and Male Rising Star of the Year by the Josie Music Awards.

Robert Cristian Jordan established his 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Phoenix Rising Music Foundation, INC, to promote the art of music while helping other artists with their projects, videos, vocal techniques, or to navigate the industry. He has established his own production company, label, music publishing, and can assist artists through the nonprofit in various ways.

As a 501(c)(3), Phoenix Rising Music Foundation, INC can receive all tax-deductible donations to support artists as they work to achieve their dreams. Additionally, Jordan hopes to begin hosting quarterly shows featuring up-and-coming and established artists! Phoenix Rising Music Foundation, INC can also help artists through need-based-scholarships when funding is available, and will help these artists in securing economical solutions for their projects.
